Setting up data collection is the first step towards adopting ShiftForward DMP. Data can be collected fromĀ multiple sources, namely:

  • Real time event tracking type data from web properties, advertising campaigns, e-mail, social, and other interactions.
  • Cross-channel match data, a special type of Event that contains two different IDs from two different sources for the same user (e.g. a mobile device ad id and a cookie).
  • Offline data onboarding, which is static information about users, such as registration data, like age and gender.
